Our book LET'S READ TOGETHER: A
Parent's Guide to Beginning Reading
is the companion book to OPERATION BOOKWORM. It has also been recommended by America Reads
and Read Across America as an excellent resource for parents and teachers.
OPERATION
BOOKWORM has 3 main components.
- As a book, LET'S READ TOGETHER: A Parent's
Guide To Beginning Reading
(formerly OPERATION BOOKWORM: Reading Activities Your child Will
Love) shows parents &
grandparents how to help their children with reading.
- As a school program, OPERATION BOOKWORM is a resource for teachers, as well as the
basis for a classroom volunteer program
and a high school community service project.
- As a fundraiser,
PTAs/PTOs can offer OPERATION BOOKWORM books as a way to earn money for your
school.
